How To Prepare

Race Day Essentials

Unbroken runs day and night, so a little preparation goes a long way. The most important things to know: it's a cupless event, you'll need a torch or headlamp for running after dark, and you're responsible for your own nutrition. There is no bag drop.

Cupless Event

Unbroken is cupless — there are no disposable cups on course. Carry your own drinking vessel: a collapsible cup, drink bottle, soft flask, or hydration vest and bladder all work.

Lighting (Night Running)

Once the sun sets, the trail gets dark under tree cover. Carry or wear a torch or headlamp for any loops run after dark.

Nutrition

Athletes provide their own nutrition on course. Water and sports drink (from FIXX Nutrition) are available in the race precinct for pre- and post-run needs — but on the loop, you carry what you need.

Bag Drop

There is no bag drop at this event. Use your own camping area or leave valuables in your vehicle.

Race Bibs & Medical Info

Complete your emergency contact number and any relevant medical details on the back of your race bib before you start. This helps first aid and event staff look after you if anything goes wrong.
