• Enquiry and volunteer information — details you provide through contact or volunteer forms.

We collect personal information only by lawful and fair means, and generally directly from you.

Entries and registration. Entries for the Unbroken Team Trail Marathon are not processed on this Site. Registration, payment and participant information are collected and handled by our external entry provider, Race Roster. When you enter, your information is governed by Race Roster's own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read. We may receive participant and results information from Race Roster in connection with running the event.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and provide the information you request;

• manage volunteer sign-ups and event logistics;

• send you newsletters and event updates, where you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time);

• operate, maintain and improve the Site; and

• meet our legal and safety obligations in connection with the event.

We will only use your information for the purpose for which it was collected, or for a related purpose you would reasonably expect, unless you consent otherwise or we are required or permitted by law.

Cookies and analytics

This Site is built on Squarespace and may use cookies and similar technologies to help it function and to understand how visitors use it. We may use analytics tools (for example, Squarespace Analytics and/or Google Search Console) that collect aggregated, non-identifying usage data. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.

Disclosure of your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose your information to:

• service providers who help us operate the Site and event (such as Squarespace as our website host, Race Roster as our entry provider, and our email/newsletter provider);

• event and emergency personnel where necessary for participant safety; and

Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
