THE OPTIONS
Unbroken has five start options, from a 14 km solo loop to an 84 km-per-runner ultra. Every distance is run on the same 14 km loop — you just complete more of them. Here's what each option involves and the divisions you can enter.

Junior to ultra
The Distances at a Glance
ULTRA
84 km per runner (6 loops)
teams of 2Two runners alternate loops until each has completed six laps — 84 km each. Run anticlockwise, then clockwise, alternating throughout.
Divisions: Mixed (1 male, 1 female) · All Male (2 male) · All Female (2 female).
MARATHON
42 km per runner (3 loops)
teams of 4Four runners, each completing a marathon (three 14 km loops), for four marathons across the team. Runners go in order, alternating direction each lap.
Divisions: Mixed (2 male, 2 female) · All Male (4 male) · All Female (4 female).
28KM TEAM
28 km per runner (2 loops)
teams of 4Four runners, each completing two loops — one anticlockwise, one clockwise — for 28 km each.
Divisions: Mixed (2 male, 2 female) · All Male (4 male) · All Female (4 female).
14KM INDIVIDUAL
14 km per runner (1 loop)
soloA single anticlockwise loop, run solo. Open to male and female entrants.
Junior
2 km per runner
soloA short 2km event for the kids, held at 4.30 pm Saturday. Every Junior finisher receives a unique Unbroken medal and free Easter treats. Parents are welcome to run alongside their child without registering (they won't be timed or receive race inclusions).
How team relays run
Keep your timing chip on the move — exchange it after each completed 14 km loop, with all runners going in order until everyone has finished their distance. Loops alternate anticlockwise and clockwise as required.
Prizes
Prizes are awarded to the winning team or individual in each division:
14 km Individual — Male winner · Female winner
28 km — All Male · All Female · Mixed (2M/2F)
Marathon (42 km) — All Male · All Female · Mixed (2M/2F)
Ultra — All Male · All Female · Mixed (1M/1F)
